GO LMT (Leader Mentor, Teacher)
Our GO LMT’s are integral to the success of the GO Learn to Swim and GO Beach Awareness Program.
As LMT’s with GO, they are mentored and given opportunities to develop leadership skills and professional habits that will last well beyond their participation in GO programs and events.
At the end of the summer season of GO, evaluations are provided to our LMTs. They are also given the opportunity to provide feedback about their participation with GO, so we can continue to improve!
GO LMT (Leader, Mentor, Teacher)
13 years or older
Paid a stipend of $50- $550, dependent upon their time commitment to the program(s)
CPR certified – American Heart Association
First-Aid certified – American Heart Association
Trained in the Bully Busting Curriculum
Trained in Professionalism
Assist with Instruction:
- Learn to Swim Program - Teach swim lessons, ages 5-17 (under adult supervision)
- Beach Awareness Program
- Assist with supervision of the safe travel to and from beach location(s)
- Teach assigned Beach Related topics/activities
